Police Charge Woman with Murder After Death of Man in Te Puke

Police have charged a woman with murder after the death of a man in Te Puke overnight.
Police said officers were called to the corner of Seddon Street and Station Road in Te Puke just after midnight on Tuesday and found a man seriously injured.
He was unable to be revived by emergency services.
Police said following enquiries, a woman was taken into custody the following day and has been charged with murder.

Police asked anyone with information that may assist their inquiries to call 105, and quote the file number 221227/3402 or said they could provide information anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
