Despicable Youths Run Over Old Man After They Were Asked to Quit Illegally Riding 4-Wheeler in Park

The mother of a 63-year-old wants a young motorbike rider to be held accountable for “deliberately running over” her son in a public park.
On Christmas afternoon, her son was taken to Palmerston North Hospital after he suffered several injuries as a quad motorbike allegedly rammed him from behind in Hokowhitu Domain.
The mother, who asked not to be named, said her son had been involved in an argument with two boys who were illegally riding the motorbike in the park.
As the family was making preparations for Christmas dinner, the mother, 87, told two young boys not to ride their four-wheel motorbike in the park located next to her house.
I told them it was not allowed in the park, and there is a sign board that says no bikes. The younger boy started swearing at me, giving me the fingers.
“My son walked across to this boy, and he said ‘don’t speak to my mother like that, please’. With that, the boy on the quad bike revved up and drove straight into my son’s back.
